Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring to board my dog?
We require proof of all vaccine’s
Do I provide my own food?
We provide the food.
However, if you want to provide your own food, so your pet doesn't have to switch, we are perfectly fine with that.
Do you give medication?
We will give medication. Make sure it is clearly marked
Are dogs placed together in kennels or in the yard?
The only dogs that we kennel or put in the yard together, are those that are in the same family, as long as they’re compatible and get along well. If there is a problem with eating together, please let us know. It may be that they would be better off side by side in their dog runs, so that everyone gets their proper share of food.
What are the kennels like?
The dogs are in dog runs. They are 4’ X 14’ or 5' X 16', with a dog house attached at the end. We also have large kennels for more than one dog in a family. They are 6’ X 24’ also with a dog house attached. All the kennels are outdoor runs with chain link tops for jumpers or climbers, and there is a roof over the kennel giving them shade.
What are your hours?
Do you allow owners to come and look at the kennels before making a reservation?
You are welcome to come by and see the kennels during business hours.
How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1972. We are a family owned and operated business, and we do live on the premises.
What if my dog is not too friendly?
When you fill out the Boarding Agreement, it asks if your dog had ever bitten anyone, or is currently in quarantine for biting. We ask that you be honest and up front with us about this, for the safety of all those who will be handling and taking care of your dog.
